Cu Chi Tunnels Review 2024.

Have you ever wondered how you would have lived during the war?

Have you ever questioned yourself whether you would have bravely fought on the front lines against the enemy or cowardly hid in a bunker waiting for capture?

Only through reality can we truly know.

Driven by curiosity, Yen sought out the Cu Chi tunnels, known as the city underground, with its sophisticated defensive system dug by the Vietnamese resistance forces during the Indochina War and the Vietnam War.

Here, Yen experienced crawling through the tunnels at a "snail's pace," felt the shock of a simulated explosion, listened to the humorous tour guide explain the tunnels, secret chambers, and intricate traps, and ate boiled cassava dipped in sugar and drank tea.

The experience was both fascinating and surprising, especially considering the affordable entry fee.

The Cu Chi tunnels, a historical site located approximately 40km from downtown Ho Chi Minh City, is a place Yen believes everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime to gain a deeper understanding of the hardships endured by our soldiers and people during the war, fostering a greater love for our country and our people.

Special thanks to Blogger Xu Kien, author of the book "Nhắm mắt đi liều," who inspired Yen and generously sponsored this trip to the Cu Chi tunnels. Chị also revealed to Yen a scenic route through the rubber forest, treated Yen to Vietnamese pancakes, and provided accommodation for the night. Much love and gratitude. ❤️
