Lý Sơn Island - a million-year-old volcanic island in Vietnam!

While South Korea has the famous volcanic island Jeju, Vietnam also boasts a beautiful and captivating million-year-old volcanic island whose potential and beauty may not have been fully exploited and sustained as its true value. This is Ly Son Island - a tiny island that has revealed traces of 10 volcanic peaks.

Ly Son is an archipelago in Quang Ngai province, a place known as the kingdom of garlic because the garlic produced here always has a higher nutrient content than garlic grown elsewhere.

Not only famous for garlic, Ly Son is also beloved by many tourists for its pristine beauty of the island waters, crystal clear water, and magnificent natural landscapes.
I was fortunate to visit the island during the best time from April to August, so the weather was pleasant (a bit hot), the sea water was clear and calm, making it perfect for taking beautiful photos.

I was impressed not only by the scenery but also by the people, the way the locals here engage in tourism is very friendly and welcoming, which undoubtedly makes visitors, including myself, want to come back.
Although I was a stranger, stepping foot here, I met people who treated me like a friend. The first thing I noticed was the smiles of the lovely people here. If anyone has been here, please confirm if what I am saying is true, as I found the locals here to be extremely friendly.

As for accommodation on the island, I booked a homestay recommended by a friend, called "NHÀ CỦA MỤP." The rooms were quite clean with air conditioning and incredibly affordable. The owners were very hospitable and even assisted in booking ferry tickets for guests. Upon arrival on the island, they were waiting to welcome us back home, overall a 10 out of 10.

The places I visited included:
📍. Thoi Loi Peak
📍. Cau Cave
📍. Flagpole
📍. To Vo Gate
📍. Mù Cu Lighthouse

I also visited a small island for snorkeling to see the beautiful coral reefs there. The water was incredibly clear, and the coral reefs were stunning, costing only 300k per person, including diving glasses, fins, and photography. I took a boat from the Big Island to the Small Island at 7:30 am, finished diving, and returned on the last trip at 1:30 pm. Anyone who wants to experience this can follow this timing, a bit tanned but totally worth it.

The places I ate at included:
Hoàng Khuyên Restaurant
Cây Bàn Pancake
Út Ngọc Restaurant
Quang Minh restaurant near the port entrance.
Lastly, I won't say much about the landscape as it's already very famous. I focused on taking photos at the tourist spots rather than food, but the food was also delicious, so you can consider it.
I wish everyone who plans to visit an excellent trip like mine ^^
